About me
Hello! I’m Grace Moccia. I’m a recent UT Austin graduate pursuing Product Design.
I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from UT Austin, with minors in Informatics and American Sign Language, and a 4.0. In college, I loved learning about psychology and human behavior. For a long time, I thought my creative side would have to stay separate from my career. Finding UX and product design changed that for me, and it’s the path I’ve been pursuing since.
I care about design that starts with empathy, clear communication, and lots of iteration. I’ve always been detail-oriented, and I’m committed to putting in the work to make sure final products feel thoughtful and functional. I’m interested in product, graphic, industrial, and accessible design, and I’m always looking for projects that challenge me to grow.
In my free time, I take on design work for friends, clients, and myself. Right now, I’m working on a mockup for a Spotify memorialization feature in honor of my close friend Solomon Sanchez, who passed away earlier this year. Music was his biggest passion, and this project has been a way to celebrate him while exploring how design can bring people comfort.
I believe there’s always room to improve, and that’s what excites me most about design— there’s always something new to learn and a better way to solve a problem.
