Issues

  • Vibration created upon impact

  • Weak grip

  • Hammer head frequently falls off

Solutions

  • Wood handle for less vibration and a lighter weight

  • Groves in the handle for a better grip

  • An easier replacement of the handle, an eye, and wedge accessible at the top of the hammerhead

  • A hole into the top of the hammer face and bell, and a slot directly behind them for nails
